Swansea

Overview

Etienne Brule was the first European to set foot on the area of Swansea in 1615. Incorporated in 1926, Swansea is named after a village in Wales. Swansea has its own community-run town hall featuring a library and plentiful activities.

The majority of homes in Swansea were built 1905-1935. The higher-end houses traditionally are located near Grenadier Pond or in the Brule Gardens on the western edge of Swansea. To the south in proximity to the lake there are several condominium buildings.
